Abstract: Drawing inspiration from human capital theories and hypotheses emerging from work in the economics of education and health, the objective of this article is to show, through theoretical microeconomic modelling, the transmission channels of the link between human capital and poverty. The mathematical formalization thus applied has made it possible to establish the relationships between human capital and poverty by emphasizing in particular the mechanisms underlying the relationships linking the two. To this end, this study paves the way for empirical evaluation.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.51505/ijebmr.2022.6409
