Abstract: The village has a strategic role in assisting local governments in the process of governance, including development. All that is done as a real action of the local government supporting the implementation of regional autonomy in its territory. Village funds allocation as per requirement is one form of decentralization to encourage good governance, for it closer the distance of the country to the community and also increase community participation, which finally encourages accountability, transparency and responsiveness of local governments. The results of this study found that good governance in Jungkat village, district of Mempawah was not optimal. |
