Abstract: Group conflict is a major problem
frequently faced by modern organizations, especially those working in large,
cross-functional teams. According to (Nurhayati et al., 2022), group conflict
in a company is a mismatch in activities, feelings, goals, and intentions among
socially interacting parties within a group. Poorly managed conflict can
negatively impact team performance, reduce productivity, and hinder innovation
and collaboration. This study aims to examine the influence of organizational
trust, inclusive leadership, and empowering leadership on group conflict and
the mediating role of psychological safety. This study uses a quantitative
approach based on statistical information. A research approach that addresses
the research problem requires careful measurement of variables from the object
of study to produce generalizable conclusions. The results indicate that
organizational trust, inclusive leadership, and empowering leadership
significantly influence psychological safety. Inclusive leadership, empowering
leadership, and psychological safety also significantly influence group
conflict. Furthermore, psychological safety significantly mediates the
relationships between organizational trust, inclusive leadership, empowering
leadership, and group conflict. These findings contribute to organizational
behavior literature by demonstrating the mediating role of psychological safety
in explaining how leadership practices influence group conflict within
Indonesia's e-commerce industry. DOI: https://doi.org/10.51505/IJEBMR.2026.10713 |
